ClipForge Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of ClipForge. By using ClipForge or starting a processing job, you agree to these Terms.

1. Your content and authorization

You may submit content only when you own it or have the rights, licenses, permissions, or authorization needed to upload, copy, clip, edit, transform, publish, and otherwise use that content. You represent that your use of ClipForge and any resulting content will not violate copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, platform, or other third-party rights.

ClipForge is an editing tool. It does not determine whether your intended use is legally permitted and does not grant rights in third-party content.

When you start a processing job, you confirm that you have the rights or permission required for that source. To help investigate abuse, rights complaints, fraud, or disputes, ClipForge may retain a limited job-audit record containing your Whop account identifier, timestamp, project identifier, source type, a public YouTube video identifier or non-reversible upload-metadata fingerprint, the authorization confirmation, the applicable Terms version, and selected processing feature flags. This audit record does not include a retained copy of the submitted source video or temporary preview and is designed to expire automatically after 30 days, subject to applicable legal obligations.

2. Campaign Builder and ClipForge Discover

As between you and ClipForge, you retain the rights you have in campaign information you submit and in generated outputs delivered to you, subject to any rights owned by third parties. ClipForge does not acquire ownership of a third party's logo, trademark, screenshot, video, offer, or other material merely because you submit it.

When you explicitly submit a Campaign Builder project to ClipForge Discover, you grant ClipForge a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the campaign information and generated material you are authorized to provide as reasonably necessary to create, host, format, display, distribute, promote, maintain, and review a separate ClipForge-owned public edition about the offer. The ClipForge public edition may use a different title, structure, wording, graphics, call to action, and outbound links from the version delivered to you.

ClipForge may monetize outbound links on ClipForge-owned Discover pages, including by substituting or adding an approved ClipForge affiliate or referral link. Your own downloaded or copied campaign output remains available for you to use with your own destination link. Submitting to Discover does not guarantee publication, indexing, placement, traffic, commissions, or continued availability. ClipForge may reject, revise, unpublish, noindex, or remove a Discover page for quality, duplication, rights, compliance, search-quality, operational, or other legitimate reasons.

3. Acceptable use

  • Do not use ClipForge for unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, or malicious activity.
  • Do not upload material you are not permitted to process.
  • Do not attempt to defeat access controls, security features, usage limits, or payment systems.
  • You remain responsible for complying with the rules of TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Whop, and any other service where you publish.

4. Credits, billing, and refunds

ClipForge may provide starter credits and sell additional credit packs through Whop. Credits are processing units used for actions such as creating clips, generating additional options, or rendering HD output. A charged job may reserve or deduct credits when processing begins. Failed charged jobs are designed to return the reserved credits automatically when ClipForge records the failure. Purchases, payment processing, chargebacks, and eligible monetary refunds may also be subject to Whop's terms and payment rules.

Credit prices, included processing, and promotional grants may change over time. Cosmetic editor changes that do not start a charged processing action do not consume credits.

5. Service availability and temporary storage

ClipForge is not a permanent file-storage service. Source videos, previews, exports, transcripts, and other working files may be stored only temporarily and may be deleted automatically when a session expires, after a retention window, when a project is replaced, or when needed for service operation. You are responsible for downloading anything you want to keep and for maintaining your own copies of original source material and exported videos.

We may impose storage, session, file-size, processing, queue, and usage limits to protect service reliability.

6. Intellectual property

You retain the rights you already have in content you submit. You grant ClipForge the limited rights necessary to receive, temporarily store, process, transform, and deliver that content as requested by you. ClipForge's software, branding, interface, and service technology remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

7. Takedowns, support, and rights complaints

If we receive a credible rights complaint or legal request, we may restrict access to content or accounts while the matter is reviewed. Rights complaints, account questions, billing questions, and support requests may be submitted through the ClipForge contact form or available Whop support channel.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, fraud, abuse, security risk, nonpayment, repeated infringement complaints, or conduct that threatens the service or other users.

9. Disclaimers

ClipForge is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Automated clipping, transcription, reframing, and other generated results may contain errors and should be reviewed before publication.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ClipForge and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of data, platform penalties, or claims arising from content you submit or publish. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ClipForge and its operators from third-party claims arising from content you submit, your publication or distribution of resulting content, or your violation of these Terms or another party's rights.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms as ClipForge evolves. Material changes may require a new acceptance before further processing.

These Terms are a product operating document and are not a substitute for advice from your own attorney about your business or specific legal obligations.
